well to answer the blown hg problem.....WARPED HEADS!!trust me on this one....12.** at what trap speed?...tell him my 300hp 88gt. would beat his car anyday.something just does not add up at all...if i had 450hp i'd hit high 10's for sure

A stock 302 bottom end will handle 500hp even. No point in puttin in nice internals, the block breaks before the rods/crank/pistons do if you tune it right.

From what ive seen, 95% of the 302 blocks wont split or crack until about 530+hp. Ive never heard of one splitting at 450hp unless somebody was spinning it to like 8000rpm and wanting to run 10+psi on it.

But 800hp...hahahaha. Never gonna happen...maybe for one run, maybe.

But i also believe he was referring to how much the blower could support, not the block.

But i have to ask your friend, why such a huge S/C'r on such a weak block? He planning on upgrading to a Dart or Man-o-war or something?
