my question to the few of you who think it is a shock...how do you think that would effect ride height? You should be able to remove you shocks without any ride height changes. You only have shocks to helf handling, so shocks will not fix this problem. I would guess a worn bushing or a bent/torn torque box. I would also take a look and see how the front sets also. The right rear is high, so is the left front low? Mabe a worn bushing in the front? Do your doors shut good? I don't know...somthing to think about I guess

I hear ya...mine is off by about 3/8 of an inch (I am picky) and it would be nice if it was that easy. I need new springs, but that is easy too. Look to see if you clocked your springs right also...that could do it.

Shocks and struts DO NOT dictate ride height, ever!! (unless they are coil overs ) It's either a worn out spring, isolator, spring purch or a broken chassis part or any combination.

i have the same problem on my 95 gt...i think its a worn shock because the driver side is easier to push down on then on the right side its a bit firmer
