Convertible question
Hey guys in my 1993 lx conv., I have bad stain marks on my rear interior quarters (vinyl). I have tried cleaning them with westol and it isnt working. I have been to
http://www.50resto.com
http://www.foxmustangrestoration.com
http://store.summitracing.com
I have yet to try the local bone yard, due to the fact that the car is 13 years old. Parts are probably not in the best shelf shape.
Any ideas or any other sites you guys can think of?
The local interior shops want 1200$$$$ to redo the rear quarters and door panels. I can find door panels for $119. I dont think there is a $1000 in reskinning some rear quarters
Thanks guys

Can you use goof off, or in some cases, I have used a product called, fast wax, available at wal-mart. comes in an aresol can and works real well. Especially in removing stains and bringing back luster of dead finishes.
acetone (not nail polish remover)
i used it to strip the nasty clearcoat from my turbine rims, it will take off practically any stain but mostly paint (careful if you have painted panels it WILL strip the paint)
maybe you can strip them and repaint them?
