I have the Typhoon intake upper and lower and I had to use a tb adapter elbow.... make sure you get it. Also make sure that you get some vacuum hose and threaded bolts to plug up some of the holes on the upper and lower intake!! I did the install ask me if you got any questions.

I have to disagree, I did alot of homework before ordering and this intake is almost exactly like the rpm performer intake. My point was that this intake set does not come with all of the parts that you need! Also it did change the power band more in the 3500-4500 range which is what I am looking for...; but you need to know that the upper/lower and headers and all air intake and exhaust is only going to flow as much air as your heads let them!! IE factory heads= minimal power gains
KEvin

P.s. Dont get me wrong if you have an endless supply of money there are better products but for this price how can you go wrong?

yeah you sell them, of course the more expensive is better to you! jk havent really head any bad things about the typhoon, but its a knock off of the edelbrock thats mad overseas with less expensive parts to cut the cost. so ofcourse it isnt as good as the edelbrock.

Okay pro.... it looks like I could eat dinner off of that engine!! Anyways not trying to argue with anyone just saying I think mine is a good VALUE. But we will see once I get my heads and cam in there if I replace it later...

Guys I have a problem:
I had my headers put on last week and got back the car yesterday. Car runs awesome UNTIL this morning when the car started running very slugishly and had trouble accelerating. Then I heard a POP and saw my air filter in the road. When i popped the hood I saw that the Pipe had shot off of the TB and the air filter came off (as mentioned earlier). I then proceeded to put it all back together with new hose clamps. The car started up and I made it home... problem is that the car idles fine but is really hesitating when given some gas in any gear.... like it is bogging down. I will check the plug wires when i get home and I have already check for vacuum leaks but what else can you think of??
Also so you know:
1. EGR is capped off
2. H pipe has a broken hanger but not bad
3. Just replaced spark plugs
4. car ran good last night

Please help
Kevin

Yes,
I have it capped at the EGR and the header and the check engine light only comes on every once and a while. I wonder if it is really important to have the pipe that was sent lengthened to fit.... feedback ???
