Default Has this ever happened to you?

Over the summer I put on a set of Mac long tubes on my 92 gt. After the install, the stock steering shaft rubbed the header , so I upgraged to a flamming river shaft, damn thing still rubbed, Has this ever happed to any of you? If so how did you correct the problem.
