Default need advice

ok, so i still cannot got my mustang to idle correctly, and it just isnt running right in general since the HCI swap. I have tried everything! I called the local mustang "Expert" around here and he said bring it by his shop. He gave me an estimate to adjust the valves, set the idle corectly, and get it running good for like 280. That is if everthing goes accordingly, and there are no other problems. I really dont want to take it to him 1)because i just dont have the money to throw away on a mechanic, and 2) I want the satisfaction of doing it myself! I have done the whole swap myself and would like to finish it out, but i want the stang running the way it should. What do i do?

The tps is at .98v, the timing is close. I went go buy a light yeasterday and sears was out! Would the timing being a couple degrees off cause this sort of issue? and the dizzy is in right. I dont knwo which wires would be in the wrong places? i have all the engine sensor plugged in. I Removed all teh egr stuff from the car, so those sensors arent plugged in.

when u removed the egr did u make sure to plug up all the vacuum lines? the timing should cause a problem if its only a couple degrees off. are all the ignition wires in there right places? its probably a vacuum leak somewhere.

No compression test, but it ran fine before the install. The heads are torqued down perfectly
