2003 cobra motor in a 5.0?
do you guys think that it would just be better to re-do the engain in a 87 5.0 or buyin a 2003 cobra motor with superchrger on it. and drop that motor in it. tell me wut u guys think would be better.

well you beter have the whole motor plus the fuel tank and pumps , wiring harrness plus the computer , the k member has to be changed i belive too. good luck you will need it . i'd pass and i'am very good at swaps plus you you need a hydo boost pump too.

wow, 03 cobra in a fox. That would kill! But it would be alot of work, and for the time/money you would put into it you could probably make a 5.0 just as nice. Since you are doing a motor swap just throw a 351 in there, it would dominate, and it would be alot easier that a cobra swap.

In the oct. 2006 issue a guy installed the cobra motor in a 1980 cobra. He installed the entire interior including the dash. He even put in the IRS. It is possible to do but I bet it isn't easy.

I read that article, it was really good. It's not worth it though. He had to cut and change the firewall on the original car in order to cram the engine in there...Honestly, unless you have a shiatload of money laying around, just build up a 351w or something.
