lemme explain this to help him out a lil more

by bending the metal, it takes the slack out of the throttle cable

so you have better throttle response instead of pushing down further to get the same response

well with the cable loose, you dont actually achieve WOT [[so i've been reading from these threads]]

so doing this let's you achieve the actual WOT by the cable being tighter

I'm going to try it on my pops car first... if it breaks, he will just think somebody tried to steal his car. If it works he will think those new tires he got are really awesome.

The pedel is up higher now, before he was hitting the mat before WOT, after being bent, it hit WOT before hitting the floor. Just raises up the pedel, lowering the stop basically...get it now??

umm no dude, you really aren't getting this lol. have someone sit in your car and floor the throttle while you see if you can open the throttle more by hand. If you can, come back and let us know.
