how the hell do I get this peice of trim off???
Hey guys, I've painted all of my trim except this peice and it's faded horribly and is white in some spots from me accidentally getting wax on it, it's an eye sore and I'm tired of looking at it. How in the hell do I get it off???
Here's a link to what I'm talking about. http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

There is one screw on the inside of the door, take that out and then "slide" the trim out towards the back, don't pull out on it, just slide it.

Why take it off? Tape it and paint it.

So I'm guessing that I probably have to have the window up and the door panel off to get to this screw eh? What a pain in the ***.
You need to teach my girlfriend to slide and not yank and tug...

You just open your door and it is on the inside of the jam near the top....no digging to get to it.
BTW, you are on your own about doin some learnin to your ol' lady

I'm kinda excited and I thought that I'd share, I went on another painting frenzy tonight, it's an addiction, I can't stop! Man I do a lot of run-on sentences... Oh well.. I really thinkg the paint fumes are getting to me lol.. BUT ANYWAYS, I removed the door belt trim, prepped and painted it and it's looking BEAUTIFUL!!!! I also noticed that my wiper arms were looking kinda shatty so I took them bitches off, and prepped and just got done painting them too and I can't wait to see how they look. I've let the wiper arms dry now for about an hour and the paint looks like glass, it looks really good. anyone want some pics when it's all said and done??? I really need to find a good place to get my windows tinted.
