why did you decide to go with a 5.0?

RE: why did you decide to go with a 5.0?
I had a 5.0 for my first car, and i absolutely loved it. I like the looks of it way more than the 94-04, plus you dont see anywhere near as many foxes driving around. The aftermarket is huge, one of the biggest aftermarkets out of any car ever made. It responds very well to modification, and the stock block is solid. Also, the aftermarket is SO cheap, but its tht way with all mustangs. Also, it is an inexpensive car. You could get a 2000GT for 12000, or a fox in perect condition for 5g, then run full exhaust, gears, basic suspension, cai, HCI swap and a supercharger for the extra 7 grand. If you like the new ones more, get a new one, if you like the foxes more, get a fox.

well i went with the 5.0 because it has a huge aftermarket selection and is cheaper to build.... the reason i chose the fox is because of the weight factor and i like them a little better then the sn95 5.0
plus by time i bought a low mileaged 99-04 gt i would have spent alot more money on buying it then i prob. would in building my fox. depending but then after you spend alot more on the car you have to spend more on building it right. so in the long run you would have alot more money in 4.6 then the fox and if the fox is done right. its a hard car to beat.
i love the 99-04 body styling but not a huge fan of the 4.6. my friend bought a bone stock 01 gt 5spd with 64,000 miles on it and although its quick its not that fast stock out of the box. and as far as money you could have a 5.0 alot faster than a modded 4.6 for cheaper. i paid 3200 for mine with some mods in it and my friend paid 12,000 for his and its stock so I would have to invest 8,800 in my fox to have the amount that he has invested in his car before he mods it and we know what 8,800 can do for a fox in mods. but in the long run there all mustangs and great cars... no matter what you choose your good...
0the power of the 4.6 IMO lies in the cobra engines... id love to have an 03 cobra
