Trouble with Equal length headers clearing the steering shaft?????

Well here is why.... plain and simple

BAD MOTOR MOUNTS

I just pulled out my drivers side mount today b/c i noticed, when i replaced my clutch, that it was torn. So here is a picture of the NEW mount along with the old mount.

I dont think it will be hard to tell the two apart

That old mount was pretty gnarly lookin, nice find!

i just ordered mounts, i dont want to even see mine lol my motor is moving alot these days esp after i ran the slick for a while i think they did the mounts in completely[:'(]

Arg!!!....it looks like you bought those cheap "Anchor" brand mounts that are made in india... I just don't know about the qulaity of those. I have a pair I bought from Rock Auto...I don't think I am brave enough to actually use them.
