Default trying to ID headers and rear '90 GT VERT

Can anyone help ID my headers and decipher the rear tag??
I am trying to figure out exactly what is on this car and is it good/bad-- helpful/hurting etc.

I was told headers are nickel plated tag says:

M.A.C. Products direct replacement #e50869

CARB E.O. NO D-244-1

(I googled this and got nothing and looked at a few sites and didn't find this product)

the rear tag says:

S217A

3L08 88 OE21

I hope you can see the pics

All help is appreciated.

I would say that the headers arent hurting you. If they are a direct factory relacement then they would be as good as stock.

The tag is on the rear end.....correct?

Looking at the headers....they seem larger in the pic then stock ones. I would say they are probably helping you.

The rear end I am having trouble with also.........give me some time...........I would probably say the is the stock tag and that you are running stock gears......

if im correct the tag says you have an 8.8 with 3.08 gears and is a locking rear end which means that your rear end is all stock.

1 5/8" HTS Shorty Header
Part Number: E508692
Price: 169.50

Description: Direct Replacement Unequal Length Header.

looks like a 3.08 limited slip 8.8' rear end to me.

my guess is that they are stock also, but I didnt know how to read the tag.

The headers may look big as I had the camera on macro to get the detail on the tag.

but basically you think they are just like factory ones but are nickel plated? what good other than looks was that? seems like a waste of money.

I agree......with all the rearend info.....

The headers are aftermarket......and if they are nickel plated then they are most likely a upgraded mod.
