IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHECK IF THE WATER PUMP IS BAD WITH OUT TAKE IT OFF . IT IS NOT LEAKING OR MAKING NOISE . MAYBE THE BLADES IN THE WATER PUMP IS BAD . I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANY MORE WITH THE PROBLEM .

1) put a new temperature gauge in not the factory unit.
2)replace thermostat
3)maybe you need a bigger aluminum radiator this worked on my 79 built up stang.
4)set up your electric cooling fan so you can turn it on with a switch in the car
5)make sure the right water pump is on it it may be spinning backwards or the belt may be on wrong.

i call the place were i got the engine from that is faster 5.0 they said with the trick flow heads you will run hotter . they told me to get a 3 row radiator , put i only found 2 row made fluidyn . then they said that if it is still running a littlt hot put a push fan in front of your condensor to push more air in under the hood . they said that should do it . will i am get the radaitor from summit the next day. i will get back to you after i put it in and let you know what happened .

I PUT IN THE FLUIDYNE RADIATOR 2 ROW AND THE TEMP WENT DOWN . IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO PUT A SMALL FAN TO COOL IT DOWN A LITTLE MORE THAT IS MY NEXT STEP . BUT YA THE RAD REALLY WORKS GREAT . FLUIDYNE 2 ROW IS THE WAY TO GO.

hey 95 BLOWN GT, how do you go about setting up your fan so that it comes on by a switch, my fan does not come on when it should.... something to do with a constant control relay i think... but anyway if i could just switch it on myself it would fix my problem. so mind walking me through it or is there a kit or something?

SO if tha thermostat is put on backwards...does that means that the high hose will be hot, but the low hose will be cold? Cause thats what is happenig to my mustang. HELP ANYONE! Also, yes!....I change and put in a brand new RAD. !
