Well ive been thinking either hellion or Kenne Bell. Lately people have been crazed about turbo stangs though, so its real tempting. I like the efficiency of a turbo, but i like the instant torque of twin screw 'chargers. I'm all tossed up [:@]
turbos are cool and all but a lot of you guys dont go for response in a turbo it seems. it really seems like you throw an oversized turbo on there and make as much power as you can. throw a smaller turbo on their reduce your lag time and have better throttle response while making maybe even the same ammount of HP.

20's? Kaboom. You can't run that much PSI on a street car... that's just asking for trouble, 10 is alright, I still wouldn't go that high for a street car, highest I'd go is 9 personally. You're going to have MAJOR reliability problems with that much boost

I agree with you liquid but i just want to feel that much power a few times. My ecu allows my to have different settings stored so all i have to do is set it up for 20psi for race and 10 for street.

well the great thing about v-8s and a turbo you dont feel the lag allthat much becuase the engine already pulls hard.. with its own ponies but then when the turbo spools up.. varo0m.! your doing 150 before you know it. and were the 4 banges and 6 cyl.. they experince so much lag becuase they rely on that turbo to make most of there power.. so it takes longer to spool

I dont condone racing either, my mods are cam, forged pistons, intake, heads ported and race valves, oh and a T66 turbo kit i built...hehe, i know it was kinda unfair but i didnt pick the race he did.
I am fabbing a twin turbo kit for my vert. I was wondering.......how is the Hartman/Comp Cams Power Box working for you? I have one, but I am weary about putting it on the car with the boost. However my friend said that those intakes are awesome for boost.

SS the box works great but man it sure flexes a lot being made of plastic. Im currently fabbing up a aluminum box for my car so i can get rid of the flexing. Good luck on the build its great when its done.

if the t66 is a ball bearing turbo, then there's virtaully not much turbo lag.. sooo forget lag! that's what the ball bearing turbos are for!
