Default MAF/MAS

I have the 93 cobra 70mm maf/mas on my car and I want to know how I can check to see what injectors it is calibrated for. How do I check this?

It is not cal'd for an injector size.

The stock Ford MAF/MAS setups were cal'd to the computer.
The computer contained a separate setting for the fuel injector size.

Aftermarket MAF's are cal'd for injectors, so that a custom tune will not be needed for lager injectors or larger MAF.

What computer are you running?
What MAS?
What size injectors?

the 93 cobra maf was set up with 24lb injectors stock and will not run right if your eec is not flashed for them

I have the 39lb Cobra blue injectors. So I should probably get an aftermarket MAF that is set up for these?

The blue cobra injectors are 24lb units.

Even if you have 24Lb injectors with the 93 Cobra MAF/MAS, an A9* computer will not run right.

What computer are you using?

Being more specific I have the 03-04 Cobra "Blue Giant" injectors part # 0 280 156 127. I am pretty sure that it is the stock computer. Car is an '89 gt convertable. Motor is a 393 twin turbo. What kind of MAF should I be running for these injectors/computer set up?

Your prolly gonna want a bigg MAF than 70mm with a TT. Maybe in the 80's or even a 90mm. And you should get an aftermarket MAF to match those injectors.

What kinds of numbers are you putting out, any idea? I'm guessing that 39's might even be a bit small depending. And yeah, +1 on the MAF/TB thing, depending on the power a 75 TB and bigger MAF might benefit you. MAF should always be at least as big as, preferrably bigger than, the TB.

So what should I look for as far as MAF goes? I am not worried about fuel injectors...I plan on running an alcohol/methanol injection kit to pick up where the injectors start to run out. I am new to Ford EFI and any help I get would be great I wan't the car to run right with the larger injectors...will a certain MAF fix my bucking problem?
