RE: speedo gear
they dont make an exact speedo gear for 4.10's that i'm aware of in that year, you'll have to change the drive gear to a 7 or 6 tooth and then get the appropriate 21 or 23 tooth speedo gear....to make it really close!

RE: speedo gear
I have 3.55's and in order to get even close I would have had to go with a 21 tooth drive gear, which doesn't mesh well so you'd need a 25 or 26 tooth gear in theory which wont mesh at all. You have to change your drive gear, I did. Went from 8 tooth drive gear to 6 tooth and put a 17 tooth driven gear. With my tire size and the gearing, the error was 0.01%... closer than factory.

RE: speedo gear
Blue, how ya been? anyhow, if you look at steeda's website they recommend the same 23 tooth speedo gear for 3.55's, 3.73, 3.90's, and 4.10's... this is matematically impossible! To get accurate reading on a 4.10 a 6 tooth driven gear w/ a 21 tooth speedo or a 7tooth driven gear with a 23 tooth speedo gear, 90-93 AOD have a 8 tooth driben gear....[&:] They dont make speedo gears greater than 23 tooth because the mesh doesn't work... best bet is to either wait til you need to drop the tranny or calculate what tire diameter will compensate for the error, or else calculate your error and remember it when your driving.... i have a 23 tooth with my 3.73 's in my AOD and i'm off only a little bit.
