I just got the new 5.0 mustang magazine for december, and it brought up some questions ??? Irecently started taking apart my mustang to install new gaskets, Different roller rocker setup and general replacement of parts. Kinda like a fresh rebild, But to my journey for 300 horses this magazine came in the mail with some ideas.

A guy in the magazine is pushing 300 horses and 350lb of torque on a stock cam heads. The only thing he upgraded was the block w/ a scat 4340 cranki-beam rods and coated cp pistons. He is running a cobra upper and lower intake.

My question is ,

Is this package streetable ? and what would be my price for the parts he has ? I am on a budget but while I have the motor out <I kinda figured would it be best to go ahead and do this upgrade.
