Was leaving work...did a small clutch dump and hear a gear grinding sound. I lost power steering and my batter light came on, needless to say the word '****' was said a few times. Popped the hood, the pulley on the fan bent, snapping the shaft right out of the water pump. So now I need a new fan assembly and water pump.

How long and expensive of a job would this be?

Damn that sucks. 2-3 hours at best, couple hundred in parts maybe.

just waiting for my clutch fan to rip through my radiator so i can upgrade both

Get a high flowing water pump and an electric fan! Worth a couple of horsepower and a car that runs a lot cooler!

No-can-do....I'm strapped for cash as it is. I literally have like $130 to fix this. I NEED to get it back on the road by the 14th.

I'm probably just getting all the parts at the ford dealer, I don't have enough time to wait for stuff to come from summit. I'm going down to my uncles on the 14th to do my clutch, so I have to get it fixed asap.

You can get a reman from napa for like 20 bucks...lifetime warranty

They're only $20 at napa? How about a new fan assembly?

The pulley behind the fan is bent...can I just get a new shaft since the fan is fine? Kinda confused what I need past that.

The actaul pulley the belt rides on? Or the shaft for the fan clutch. That stuff never gets damaged. Are you sure about whats damaged?

I know that they are right around that....don't know about the fan. You need a new fan? or just a clutch? Pulley is bent?? What did you do?? hit it with a hammer?
