I took it home tonight to show my wife, so when I return it tomorrow I am probably going to offer him $2600 cash for the car with the 17" Chrome wheels. Thanks again for the help everyone! This is a great on-line community.

I tried offering $2500, he countered $2800, then I told him to call me on Wednesday after he had a while to try and sell it to someone else. He called me an hour later and took $2600. I'm leaving now to go and get the title and write him a check.

CONGRATS ON THE PURCHASE. You are going to be very happy with it. As for the speedometer problem, mine does the same thing. I know the exact history of the car as well. It happend when I had the change the heater core. You have to basically remove the whole dash and that is when it started bouncing. That is a very minor problem with it. And for him saying that the mileage is not right because of the gear, he is right. When he changed from the stock gear to a 3.73 unless he bought the gear to put back there for the speedo it is off. I don't have the gear for my speedo and when I am doing 80 mph my speedo reads a little over 100 mph and it only gets worse the faster you go. Post up some pics when you get it home!!! Oh yeah, let the modding begin!!!
