Default Transmission help

My transmission is starting to go out, hard shifts and sometimes it wont go in at all... so i want to build one up!
Im going to start at the junkyard, so what kind of transmission should i look for to build up. I want one that i can build to last, since mine wont be going out soon (i hope)

any info would be great

Why don't you just rebuild yours to what ever specs you want?
What Trans do you currently have? What year is your Mustang?

well personally id just take off of work for a weekend, drop it fri night/sat mornin, work on it sat, and thatll give you sun just incase it takes longer then expected. personally id just rebuild what you have, but if your set on getting another to rebuild ima assume a t5 outa a mustang similar to yours is the way to go. depending on what kinda power your putting out now or plan to put out, maybe you should just save up and get a new tko or something. im in the same situation, and im either going to rebuild mine, or get a tko. just my 2 cents tho. either way, good luck.

G force T5. Buy one of those, probably cheaper than having alot of stuff done to a Stock T5 to hold the same amount of power.

Theyre good to 650ish hp. Good luck breaking it.
