what the hell are you doing?

take spout out start car the check time...set it shut car off put back in restart...now when you check this time it will be total time...not initial.

I'm not that thick, I know how to time it...it is just not reading right.

This is getting all confusing.....start over


I time my car with the spout out, on the # 1 and my timming is set to 24* and my car runs good. What could cause this? The balancer looks the same, but maybe it is off? I didn't know if there was somthing else I could be missing...somthing with the timing chain...don't know

it is stock...don't know for sure. It has a circle cut out on it and a pointer...I use the pointer. Maybe I should just go out and find tdc and go from there.

that's what i'd do...did you mark where #1 was at before pulling it out?...just bump till you get #1 at tdc.
