Hey guys i have a 95 cobra and to my understanding they come stock with 1.7 roller rockers. So if i get a set of 165cc afr heads and use 1.7 RR's will i have any valve to piston issues or anything of that nature??

Everyone told me the best thing to do is actually check it. But i'm sure there are others on this forum that have afr's and 1.7's, im sure they'll tell you.

you will be fine

AFR165 heads still have a 1.9" valve which clears the stock valve reliefs, if you went with a 2.02 intake valve, you would need to notch the pistons because the reliefe is not wide wnough for the valve, but you are all set with AFR165's

just dont go past .540 lift

+1 what adder said, I'm doin the AFR 165s and the Steeda #19 cam (.510 lift w/ 1.7rr) and i should have zero problems, but you always should check.
