Sounds very interesting... I can see high 12's but mid 11's ?!? Kind of crazy but would LOVE to see you pull it off. Good luck with your adventure! I have a set of MAC LT's and a MAC Pro-Chamber that I would be willing to part with cheap, not sure if it will be cheap enough for you but just PM me if you are interested. Also, I have alot of spare parts; brand new cap & rotor, dizzy, exhaust, stock radiator, alternator, some brackets, etc. if you ever need any help let me know. I will charge but pretty much dirt cheap since you have helped me out so much with my planning of my build Good luck and DEFINETLY keep us all updated!

Hell I would rock that car for $300. I can see this goal being met, if the right parts can be found. Full. I am sure that you can this, but I wonder if the average member would have the kind of connections needed to this off. I for one hope you pull it off. Any idea on how much juice your going to run threw it?

No way you're gonna run 11.50 for under 1500.... The only way you're gonna be able to pull that off is if you have a 30 gallon tank of nitrous in the back...

Also you have to take into account your altitude, notches supposeably ran 13.5 off the lot at SEA LEVEL, hatches about 14. So say your altitude is 1200ft you're lookin at an extra second and a bit added, so now you have a 15.x second car and have to drop it 3 seconds for under $1500. Hell, hemi cars didn't even run in the 11's, they only pushed low 12's with 525hp and 595 ft/lbs...

Good luck though, prove me wrong and you will be my idol

Have you ever seen one of the old mopars try to launch though? They can't hook up to save their lives (stock anyway). I bet you can pull it off so long as you have a long time to wait for good deals to come around. I bought mine for $800, and I bet it'll run low 13's easily if I can get it to hook (i.e. upgraded suspension/tires).[8D]

Sure it can be done. Gut that thing and spray a 175 shot through it. Used control arms, shocks, and struts (I have $150 total in my Lakewood 50/50s, 90/10s, and Moroso Tricks front springs). Go kick some ***!!!

i am pretty sure he can do it. if you know the right people, can get the right parts, know how to do everything, it can be done. i'd just love to see a video of the finished product.

Find some used slicks with enough rubber for about 3-4 runs. Then find some cheap *** $200 heads and port the living sh*t out of them, a used $50 cam, a used nitrous kit $160-$200, a stock lower ported will suffice, find a used Comp Cams upper off of Ebay.

I think it can be done, you just gotta look around for stuff.

Or you can build a turbo kit and throw on it and easily click off 11.5's and you can easily build it with the rest of your budget.

I definetly think he can do it, it will be difficult with the price budget but I think it can be done!
