My car constantly bogs like ****, anyone know what it can be? i was thinking injectors, fuel pump or some kind of sensor? anyone?

 

whens the last time it had a tuneup? plugs, wires, rotor cap/button, timing verified, coolant flushed & filled, grounds checked, MAF, IAC, TB cleaned, Air filter changed, fuel filter changed.... etc. Also does the fuel pump prime when the key is in the accesory posisiton (dash lights on & car off)? Does the motor sputter or just loose power all together?

 

Full tune up like 2 months ago, includin timing, Havent done a coolant flush, grounds checked? maf and iac cleaned, what do u mean prime? and the car sputters, no power loss. also, theres like an explosion sound coming from inside the TB.

 

Check you're timing. Put a light on it, leave the spout in, & bring the rpm's up..... Verify timing is advancing. If it doesn't advance or even retards; the ignition module likely has gone bad....

 

Hi, Did you get the popping / backfiring problem fixed? I have the same problem with my 90 GT. Under a heavy load, it will backfire through the MAF. Does happen every time I give it moderate or full throttle. Any info would be appreciated!
