Good price for a 93LX?
Checking out an LX 5sp that just flipped 100k. Red, loaded with black interior. Absolutely mint inside and out, no rust or rot, new tires, new brakes, new clutch, new exhaust with hi-flow cats. Only minor mod is underdrive pully and short throw shifter, otherwise all stock. Door pins were also replaced. Only problems: e-brake cable is rusted up and the a/c doesn't work (my guess is the evaporator since he replaced the compressor).
What would be a good price for a mostly unmolested 5.0? He's asking $5k, I was thinking more along the lines of $4200-$4500.

Man, if I could find an LX in s good s shape as what you say, I would pay the 5000 for it.
I would start at round 4200, but if he stuck to his gun's I would pay the full price.
Those car's that are in good shape are getting hard to find.

We'll see, the pics look good and I'm checking it out today. Everything I've looked at have been absolute toilets so far. I saw an 89 LX with 130k and it had a good amount of rust and it looked like those 130k were done 1/4 mile at a time. It was repainted and he was still looking for $4k. I've go the clearance from the wife so if it's good I think I'll have to pull the trigger.

If it is as clean as you say and he knows what he has, you'll have to pay the premium price. Just low ball him and see where it goes. 5K is still not a bad price for a clean foxbody!
