What size tire will be equal height to my old set up?
I had 225-60 15.......I baught 4 pony 16 inch rims with 225-60-16..............My car rides 1 inch higher now and I am unable to fit the front tires on because it rubs on the left fender. What tire with would be identical to my old set up 225-60-15............
I figured 225-55 or 50.....??

I just found out 225/55/60 came originaly on the cars which had 16's when new. I figured I would get 50 for the width because it will lower the car thus improve handling. What size rims do have in your picture?

im running 225/55/16 all around and im having rubbing issues as well
now i know why the previous owner had bald tires upfront.. so they wouldnt rub.
the tread *nicks* the inner fender so slightly.. yet still rubs
oh well i can live with it
should just note my cars been lowered about an inch all around
