Default port and polish

alrite so i scrapped the 351 cleveland heads for now and just wanna do a port and polish on my heads how much hp am i lookin at for my 86 thats bone stock

with those E6's....not to much of a gain, get some E7's and port them, you'd be happier.

Not that i know of. Same size valves if im not mistaken. So there should be no problems.

But it would be nice to get a long block out of a 87-92 mustang to replace your engine. You could probably pic one up with the harness and computer for a little over $500-$600 in the paper. There are a couple in the paper here every week.

Would be a direct swap.

^^ Yep, thats correct. More room for bigger valve heads. Up to about 1.90 of course.

I have Probe forged pistons and thats why i got 2.02/1.60 valves in my heads with a .512 lift cam.

You have tons more room with the later pistons. But your still limited, but its tons better than the flat tops.

alrite so if i go with the 93 block which a friend of mine will give for like 100 cause someone smashed his fox, can anyone give me the info needed to mate the cleveland heads to the 302

Oh, the cleveland heads till wont fit.

The cleve's are canted valve heads, meaning the valve comes in kinda at an angle. So you got special pistons to use with thoese heads.
