Headers
Hey guys,
i'm in the process of building a 347 for my 65 and am trying to make a header decision. Currently i have heddman's on the car and hate them. They fit awful, every time i cut the wheel all the way it bumps the headers and lifts the motor. This has caused me to go through countless motor mounts and has also worn a hole in the headers.
My question is, which headers are the best for my 65. I think that fit is most important to me. I'm considering hookers. Ceramic coated or non? Anny info will be greatly appreciated.

RE: Headers
there is a washer trick that you can do to eliminate the steering shaft rubbing.
unbolt the motor mounts and raise the engine high enough to get a washer between the mount and the frame, or the mount and the engine... either way, this will slightly raise the motor and give you more clearance
