RE: Price Check
Heres a pic, I am not 100% sure if I will get it. I want to hear input from you guys first. Give me the word and I will.
So far me and my good friend went to look at it. We told the guy to turn it on and let it run for 5 minutes. Then we told him to rev it up, I was listening to the engine for knocking or scratching. We looked at the oil, smelled it for gas, let it sit on muffler and see if water boils out. It was in tip top shape. Tranny seemed to be in working order. Interior was kinda lame but who cares?

RE: Price Check
Uh Oh, Think he got Maaco!
Fresh paint?
He could be hiding something.
Check the bottoms of the inside of the door, rear hatch lift it and check along the edges.
floor pans just bang em with your fist see if you see or hear anything.
I paid 4k for mine, had around 120k miles and had a few things done to it.
Gears, Cam, Exhaust, electric fan, ac/smog removed.
Also, a Brand new tranny with about 4k miles on it
But the car was nearly immaculate.
Does burn oil, but I think I just found out why..................................
ugh my Valve Cover bolts were HAND TIGHT!!!!
tightened em up and that should get rid of my problem.

RE: Price Check
I would definitely test drive the car before I made any decision about it. If the seller will allow it, take it to a mechanic and have him look it over good for you before you purchase it. He can pull some wheels and check the brakes, do a compression test, etc. and give you some better idea about the mechanical condition if you aren't prepared to check this stuff for yourself. If the seller won't let a mechanic look at it, run away now and find another Stang.
