i just a have a question on the 347 its stroked so redline isent the same as stock right? and my friend bought a car with supposed to be a 347 with gt40 heads eldbrock upper and lower intake 3.73's and some other stuff but it has no power below 3grand a stock mustang feels faster i think but when it hits 3 grand she takes off. is there something the mater with it or that how they built it? they said it put out 410 rwhp on a 125 shot in a wet kit. shouldent that motor be putten like 380 without the bottle?

 

well depending on what else your friend has in it.. it should put out 380-400 pretty easily... and my 347 takes off a lot sooner than that

 

If a 125 shot is supposed to give 125 horsepower then without it should the car have 285 horsepower? Correct me if I'm wrong though. And the cars redline and power curve depend on what is was built with. It might have been built to be a high rpm screamer with no ***** below 3 grand, ask the guy who built it!

he got roller rockers e303 cam full exhaust smog is gone tremic tko 500 and if the car is under 1500 that tranny jumps around like no tommorow and the guy he got it from said thats normal cause its a tremic?? dosent sound right to me

 

nope can't say that my tremek tko 600 does that... he better talk to the guy who built the damn thing!!

 

we tried he is dead we are only talking to his friends and they dont have alot of info so he worken with what he got

 

That sucks... also a 347 with gt-40 heads will not put out 380-400 rwhp easy... maybe flywheel HP.
