This is what I used... but I got it in black. Not white. Its Chip Gaurd Tex-Coat by Trans Star.

ok that would be great, which texcote product is it i am on there website and they have a variety of products, i do not see anything automotive specific though. and i guess i would really have to be sure that i have sanded off all the rust because it does not nuetralize the rust

ok will do. i think i am going to sand it, use some rusteoleum to nuetralize anything i miss and top it off the the texcote. i will pm you, if i can figure out how... never done it before
