Default Water in headlights???

Before I upgraded my headlights I had an issue with my head light getting water in it. So I drilled little holes in them so the water can come out. My friend is low on funds so he can't upgrade his head light so I'm going to be drilling little holes in his head lights to keep the water out on Friday.

My question is, is there any other way to keep the water out and where does the water go in from?? Thanks!

Not sure but I get moisture in my headlights constantly. I tightened them up like 10 time already and nothing is doing the trick. Im sure wherever Im getting moisture is the same place your getting water! Are they cracked at the top at all?

I upgraded already it was the only way that problem went away but before I did I had to drill little holes in the head lights cause that moisture your talking about started to bulid up and had water constantly in the head light so I just drilled little holes on the bottom so the water can come out. My freind has that same problem on his LX. So he asked me what I did to get the water so I told him I drilles it. So I'm going to be doing it on Friday.
I'm just curious to know if there's a better way to cure that problem.

The seal around the clear part and the backing starts to leak! Nothing you can do besids replace or it your really hard up use some silicon around it or epoxy like 2 kwik said!

^+1 and silicone sealant on the bulb housing... that way if you need to change the bulb the silicone will break free.

I have a set of aftermarket headlights, Sealed them up with some 'Flowable Silicone' and still nothing. Next I am just going to drill a few small holes to let the water out.

the only other thing i ever did was silicone them and put some electrical tape around the seam. I bought new smoked projector lights and put tape around them before i put them on just to make sure.
