Default '94 3.8-5.0

Asking for a buddy here, search feature was dicking me around and I couldn't find anything...
Said friend has a '94 3.8, 5speed trans. He's been wanting to put a 5.0 in it for a while, he was going to check the door tag today and tell me what rearend/trans he has. Does anyone know exactly what needs to be swapped? I'm guessing the stock trans/rearend should be fine right now, but probably a new bellhousing to mate it up to the 302? Apart from that, what else?

6 bangers have a 7.5" rear until 2005 when for upgraded them for the 4.0

the v6 transmission WILL NOT bolt to the 5.0

its not worth it, it will cost as much to get it to the perfomance level of a stock gt, the tranny is worse engine suspension everyting, just buy a cheap 94/95 they can be had for around 4 or 5 easy

+1 on buyin a GT instead. Sell that 6, and with a bit more money you can buy a GT. The difference would be much smaller than the cost of the swap.

They both use the T-5 but the bellhousing is different. Sell it and buy a GT.
