Default Headers

In the next week or two im gonna be installing BBK longtubes...i know there gonna be a hassle probably...i know i have to loosen the motor mounts and jack up the engine...but do i have to take anything off or remount it anywhere?thanks

are you doing long tube or shorties? Haven't heard of raising the engine for shorties.

You shouldnt have to relocate anything....

Did you get a shorter H pipe? you know you cant run the stocker with the LT's right?

I have long tubes but I put them in while I had the engine out, so I just set the engine in with them already sitting in the engine bay. I don't think you have to loosen the motor mounts to get them in. Is your car EFI? I saw it was an 85 but I didn't know if you converted it. If it is you will need O2 wire extension wires, BBK sells them.
