stop driving it please. you definetly dont want to be anywhere NEAR those temps, ur gonna cause some damage fast, if you havent already. do you have enough coolant in it? someone will hopefully come in here who knows how to tell if a water pump is bad.

yes, i check it every day and it seems to get low in a matter of one day, I read in another thread that when your water pump goes bad it leaks causing your radiator fluid to decipate even while driving at a normal temp.

when a water pump goes bad it's a seal that starts leaking. you will see coolant coming out

no. there is a small hole in the bearing snout that allows coolant to leak when the seal goes bad

it's actually the entire cooling system that needs burped. turn your heater all the way to hot. take off your radiator cap and let it run untill operating temp. shut it off and let it cool down. then make sure coolant level is correct
