Looking at a '90 GT..
I've found a 1990 Mustang GT (Hatchback), manual trans. with a 302 V8. It has power windows and locks, after market cd player, wheels, tires, and a rebuilt dual exhaust. Great condition, 102,000 miles with a few scratches in the ground effects. It's a private dealer and the asking price is $3700. His reasoning is because it's a 25th Anniversary edition.
I'm not much of a car guy, but I've looked in the Kelly Blue Book and the highest price I've seen is $3,080 fully loaded. Does being the 25th anniversary edition justify the price? If not, what would be a good price?
Thanks for any help

KBB is the banks value of the car, pretty much the cheapest possible price. I'd pay around 3000-3300, but i havent seen it, just a guess on my part. I'm sure they'll go down on it, and i doubt the price varies cuz its a 25th aniv., proly just an excuse the guy is using to get mroe outa it.

Thing is, I'm 18, still living with my parents, and still on their insurance (I've gotta milk it, right?) So the only way I can get this is if it doesnt make the insurance jump up. And if it does, it'll be put on me to pay the difference (that's if I get it).
I'm pretty stoked about it, though. I'm going back to take some pictures of it tomorrow, so I'll throw them up here when I get back.

Yea, i'm 19 and insurance is CRAZY HIGH on these cars. So im still on my moms ins. Its half of what i was quoted, so i pay 198 a month on her name, and they quoted me 400. Right now its still on fire and theft cuz its been outa service since last november.

Does the dash emblem have the 25th anniversary badge or just the horse? just becasue its a 90 dont necesarily make it a 25th anny, 89 1/2 to 90 1/2 are 25th's and it really doesn't matter unless its an anniversary edition model, such as yellow or red w/ white top and white interior on the pony wheels or the 7up edition, otherwise they aren't rare at all.... jmo i wouldn't pay more than 3000 for it...good luck

Alright, I got some pics.
Drivers side side mirror (chipping paint):
Drivers side ground effects (cracking paint, rust?):
Drivers side door (bad paint/rust patch-up):
Minor rust where spoiler meets the trunk lid:
Still around 3000 - 3300?

Is it supercharged? If it is its well worth what they are asking by the looks of it. Looks like it has some decent body work that needs to be done but nothing major. 3700 seems a little high if its not supercharged.
