Default crate engine

i am thinking about buying this engine.

i have a 90' convertible completely stock, what other things will i need to upgrade to make this engine run good? Im thinking of going with a edelbrock rpm 2, what size throttle body? do i need to upgrade fuel system? how much will it cost me to have a mechanic put all of it in?

Why dont you just stroke out the motor you have already ? Coast high performance sells a 347 stroker kit for 750 bucks ! I would stroke it get a better set of heads and intake . I could personally get a better motor for $4,300 (built). I would definatley keep searching ? Jmo.

Its a nice motor.... BUT I dont like crate motors............. you can build them for cheaper and get more power. If you dont want to do that they the motor is nice.

Just put that same motor in my sons 92LX. 288 rwhp and 312 torque. Trick Flow street heat intake, 70mm BBK TB, 76mm C&l mass air, BBK equal length shortys, h-pipe, flowmasters. We are very happy with it so far!
