i love when people use crappy parts and then say "i didnt make alot of power... why is this?"

its because you used a ****-*** cam with garbage heads

your car would have made better power with a TFS stage 1 cam and 1.7 roller rockers

All you need is a few bolts ons and gears to pull on an 05 GT.

Besides, its a crate motor, MMFF reviewed it and it got rave reviews. Anywho, it still pulls 05+ GT's, so its good enough to get me by.

I know alot more than you give me credit for. Im merely stating that there are MUCH better heads, and MUCH better cams that he could have run, for around the same cost.


i'd really like to know why a "built", and i quote that loosly, motor make almost 25 less HP than my car makes STOCK

cobras came with 1.7rr's not 1.6

and a z cam with 1.7's is ALOT of lift, but not alot of duration, its one think to open the door wide, but if you slam it shut too fast.... sally fat-*** cant get in

have you already built the motor? if so what are your numbers?

/sarcasm. I actually have ported GT40P's, cobra 1.7RR's, weiand xellerator intake with edelbrock 600 carb, stock roller cam longtube headers, flowmaster exhaust all on a 306. Electric fan, no power steering or A/C. Running FRPP C springs and 3.73 gears behind a rebuilt T-5 topped off by a hurst SS. It's loud as **** and makes children cry, seriuosly, I had a lady chase me down once becuase my exhaust scared her little boy and made him cry.
