Default new fuel reg. having problems.

got it installed and it ran fine until i drove it and came to a stop, then it dies. and now when i start it it surges and eventualy dies.

whats the fuel pressure supposed to be? and what else could be causing this?

39psi and have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Could be dirty MAF. Is your CEL coming on?? Go get that bitch scanned.

well the directions said to put it to 48 psi with the vacuum line off. could that be why it runs like ****?

how do i check for vacuum leaks? and what is cel? and i dont think it would be my maf cause it just started with the new regulator.

CEL = check engine light. Make sure all lines are connected and listen to see if you hear anything hissing.

check engine light only comes on after it dies. but thats normal i think. when its running no "cel"

now when i put it to 38 psi do i have the vacuum line disconnected or connected?

39PSI with the vac line disconnected

im actually running about 45psi, but my motor requires just a tad more fuel
