I have my cars original owners information in the owners handbook and on all their old reciepts that i foungd jammed behind the glovebox

I worked with the 3rd owner of my stang back in 01 lol, i got it in aug of 05. If that site doesnt help you, then you can ask the dealership you got it from or whoever you got the car from and they will let ya know or wont give you the info at all. Some dealers will look it up if there cool, and others just wont do it cause they think its alot of trouble.

"Lexus Nexis" lets you do motor vehicle searches by VIN. It should give you a history.

my car has the original owners name inscribed on a plaque on the dash i have yet to locate him though

just curious why you would want to find the original owner? thank him for taking care of it??? i know that in michigan the name of the person is on the title, and most local "cop shops" might help in tracking the person down

ic just figured it was kinda weird wanting to find the original owner of a car, i guess i could understand it if you fixed the car up like crazy all fast and **** and wanted to show him your work... but that would be if you knew the guy b4 u bought it
