loud exhaust.....
My cars exhaust is so damn loud now its becoming obnoxious.
Its not so bad when it idles where its supposed to at around 800 (what is stock idle?). but the car tries to idle around 900 or 1000. Its becoming very very obnoxious. Since i picked up my car from THR it has had a whistle. The whistle is only at idle, and i think its a vac leak, but i cant find it and its driving me nuts. It only occurs sparradically (sp?) like itll whistle then go away then whistle again. GRRRR. The guys at THR tried to tell me its bc i have the bbk cold air intake that it whistles, but ive had that for about 3 years and it didnt start until the h/c/i.
anyone have any ideas? i havent a clue anymore.

bbk 1 5/8 shorties, bbk offroad x, and flowmasters with dumps
i just bought some actual tailpipes, and a upr catted x pipe hoping that will cut down on the racket, but i havent installed them just yet

no ive had this exhaust for about 2 years and its NEVER ever been this loud, I dont know if the AFR heads and intake caused it to get louder.
oh and another thing, the whistle only happens in the afternoon. In the morning it doesnt do it. Tomorrow I am going to get a cable so i can put a video of it on here to show yall what i am talking about. Its just not "normal."
