Beat a dakota tonight
One of my friends has a 2004 dodge dakota 5 spd 3.7L. All of my friends were saying how he was gonna smoke me and how my car was so slow. We raced from a roll at 20 mph and i beat him by about 4 lengths. Then went one more time from a stop and i gave him 1 1/2 lengths ahead and i beat him by 4 lengths again. Sure shut all of them up. Im basically stock except for the mufflers and i got AOD. So they thought i would lose but shut all of them up. Just gotta beat that 2002 dakota r/t my friend has he beat me by 2 lengths a couple days ago but that will chagne soon.

no not really braggin just they wouldnt shut up about him being able to beat me so i showed them that i would. Just need to know what to do to beat that 2002 dakota r/t

in january i had a rental 06 3.7 auto dakota and i raced it against my friend's 98 ranger 3.0 auto and the dakota was a few feet in front off the line but the ranger took it by a few cars after that lol. dakotas are big slow cows

haha yeah, but for a 6 cyl truck they r quick. I just was bored and thought id let yall know. How much of a differnce do u think exhuast and gears would make i really want to beat that dakota r/t

ill go along with this thread.. i beat my friends 2002 v6 stang 5 spd.. and i gave him 2 lengths. and i didnt even pwoer break it.. also i had my windows down. he laucnehd hard.. and i launched like ****.. haha i he was about 3 car lengths in front but once i got into 2nd, i flew by him like nothing! haha pretty good slaying i suppose. and mines an auto with stock 2:73 gears.

i didnt power brake mine either just hit the gas when it turned green. But yeah i got stock 2.73s and won by 4 giving him 1 1/2 lengths but nuthin special just a 6 cyl truck.
