Still not charging enough

Still not charging enough
I just got done putting on a 130 amp alternator from a '95 Mustang 5.0 and my car still doesnt charge enough at idle with the lights on.
Ive got underdrive pullies and had a charging issue with them and the stock 75 amp alternator so I got a higher amp alternator and wired it up the right way (used a link in this forum) and now still have a charging issue.
I dont have a big stereo or anything else electric to draw away alot of power so whats the deal here?
The gauge reads between the A and L of NORMAL.
What do I need to do to make this thing charge right?

RE: Still not charging enough
have you tested the alternator and battery with a load tester to see how many amps/volts your drawing vs. putting out?
and yes i've heard underdrive pullies can cause charging issues...[&:]

take the underdrives out and your problems will be solved.

I know the underdrives cause a charging issue but I thought that was only with the stock 75 amp alternator and I thought the 130 amp alternator was supposed to make it ok. Thats the whole reason I bought the 130 amp alternator.

RE: Still not charging enough
you need a smaller alternator pulley to speed up the alternator.
I was lucky and had a buddy with one laying around, not sure what it came off of.
and I thought the SN95's came stock with a 130amp alt? No?

I have a pulley off the '92 alternator, one off the '95 alternator and the underdrive one. Should I just find the smallest one and use it?
