I took my 95 mustang gt 5.0 to a shop and had the distributer,ignition coil, module changed and paid 500 bucks so when i got home i put on a cold air intake i bought from ebay, the car ran ok for a day but when i started my way to work it started to idle real bad and turned off. i tried to restart it but it wouldnt start. i had it towd home and put the computer on it said the tps had low voltage. I went out the next day and itstarted right up ......I dont know what to do? Do u have to get the pcm tuned when u put mods even if its just a cold air intake? Any help would be appreciated

Nope....suggest to get the engine in a no start condition again and id if it's a spark (module, stator, coil, wiring), fuel (fuel pump, CCRM, lack of injectors pulse, wiring, ECM) or ECM (CCRM, wiring, ignition switch, bad ECM)...problem.....if there was a diagnostic job done, that had the shop replace the parts you mentioned due to the same condition.....it should be covered by some type of warranty. I had a diagnostic done today and two codes came out 542 fuel pump circuit open electronic control assembly to motor ground, and 121 tps voltage inconsistent with engine intake airflow, does anyone know what the hell i should fix first!

reset the voltage for the tps
as for no injector purge i recently pulled that code. replaced $200 in parts finaly just swapped out the damn ECU (i ran out of idea's...) and it fired right up .. no problems since

I found it! I took off the new cold air intake and put on the original and it started right up and its running good, i want to put the upgrades i paid money for on the car but not if its gonna cause me so many headaches, thanks everyone for your help

I bought a cold air intake kit and went down hill from there, i thought i fixed it but i just spent the last hour getting my car towed home. The code that comes out now is 211 profile ignition pickup circuit failure (pip) does anyone know where thats at on the car or if thats hard to change out
