Too much. 1.5-2 quarts between changes. Blowing straight out the pipes (more on right than left). Getting ugly oil residue on rear bumper. Clean carfax and title shows 76,000. Smokes under WOT. Damn thing is driving me nuts. I know that the car went unregistered for 8 years-does any one know if sitting for an extended period of time could do something to cause this?
Thats jacked up, my 5.0 uses that much and is new, but I NEVER!!! get fouling in the pipes or anything like that even when I ran full exhaust. Wierd.

Wow... sucks for you guys! I dont drop ONE SINGLE DROP of oil in 3K. Everytime I check its exactally where it was when I filled it. My car has like 88K on it or something like that. Maybe 89K.

my guess would be valve seals dried out and cracked from sitting. but you could also be getting blow-by from piston rings if it only does it at WOT.

Lazy has nothing to do with it trust me... I am FAR from lazy. Its just a pain in the *** to have to add oil like that all the time especially if its your daily driver and your putting on alot of miles. Not that its really that expensive but it sucks too when your running an expensive as$ oil like RP which I pay $9 dollars a quart here for.
