Man what a dilemma
My cousin called me today and offered to trade me my 1998 Honda Accord for his 98 GT. The car has 70,000 miles and is canary yellow. It has the saleen hood, front bumper and rims. Has a Mosley(?) rear end with 4.30 gears and a shift kit with a 2,000 stall on it. The exhaust is all new and the engine only has a Ford Racing intake manifold. Other than that the engine is stock. Car is in great condition. Has a new set of M/T drag radials on it, but my dad says he has never raced the car.
But I have wanted a foxbody forever. The thing is, it seems like I will have a way better platform to work with on this 98 than on my 88. My brother in law called today and wants my 88 to build up a drag car. I was wanting a truck to trade the Honda on, but I cant pass up a deal like this. The Honda is paid for and the Stang is too. He just has so many vehicles including two foxbodies and he has to drive 200 miles to work every day and he said gas is killing him right now.
But a paid for Stang is an awesome thing to start with, wouldnt you say? He wants to make the 5 hr trip tomorrow night to bring me the car.
I guess there are waay worse dilemmas to be in than this..... What would you guys do?

Well, if I get the 98, the 88 will be gone by Sunday. I hate to see it go, but damn man, this isnt a deal that you run into every day. The yellow will take some getting used to, but I like seeing them on the road.

you can always find another 88 somewhere down the road. but where are you goin to find the deal your getting again? someone who wants to get rid of his stang for a honda is stupid. if gas milage is a problem them change the gears and get rid of the 4.30 for a 3.55 or somethin. DEAL OR NO DEAL???? DEAL

Well, as I said he already has two Stangs besides this one and is in debt and needs this one gone. He is eating up his bill money in gas in his F350 and his z71. He has to have a truck for work. As for mine, it has came a long way, BUT....... I expect to get it into really good condition I will need between 6-10K.
He makes a lot of money, but he has a ton of vehicles as well. This is the car he wants to part with to get one good on gas, and I was after it a year ago, so he wanted to come to me first.
