LAST UPDATE ON Complete ENGINE INSTAL
New Engine
,450 hp Trans AOD,
Flywheel,
4:10 Rear Gears,
3000 STALL,
Trick Flow Stage One Cam Specs,
Mac Shorties , Flowmaster 2 1/4 dumps,
1.6 ROLLER Rockers,
Stage 3 Race Ported 1969 Iron 351 DO0E HEADS With Big Valves and enlarged bowls and hardened seats for non leaded gas,
, Thin Head Gaskets for more compression, hardened pushrods.
Upper and Lower Intakes Ported, Cold Air Intake, Old Custom Tune. New Rack n Pinion, HD Tire Rod Ends,
Car is NOT THAT STREETABLE, I took her for a drive and my stock brakes are barely holding the massive amount of torque this thing is pulling AT IDLE/PART RPM - stop, WITHOUT A NEW TUNE.
Idle is HARMONIC FREE, but VERY LUMPY, 600 RPM -950 RPM lumps very nasty.
AND THE WORSE PART, I hit her med throttle and lost the tail end; 180 spin and couldnt bring her back around.
Now im broke and need to upgrade my Brakes $400 and Tires and rims$600, along with a traction bars, and strut supports.
[:'(] I HAVE NO TRACTION on brand New Goodyear 16' tires. Very Hard to slow down, need BIG brakes.
I dont think Im gonna supercharge her , no no no no!!!!![X(] [X(]

the dyno will have to come with the new tune,
since they do both together at the Mustang Shop, and not to mention you have to make an appointment 3 weeks ahead of schedule.
I am in no shape to pay the $500 for new tune, new chip burned/installed and dyno time. And to make matters worse, its getting cold and the track is closed. I like to make passes under 70 degrees, you get better times!!! dam!
If you havent taken your stang to the track, id reccomend doing so, ITS VERY NERVOUS and youll be shaking lol, but its fun.

no, the AOD IS NOT THE SAME, IN FACT IT SHIFTS HARD AS A STICK SHIFT AND JERKS/CHIRPS/SPINS TIRES EACH SHIFT. They built the tranny to 450hp and I removed to save the $400 in labor to remove and re-instal.

I'm sure i wont be able to make it till next spring....
I'm almost done with the HCI, not much more left. But i will still need to get it dynod after that, so definatly not till the spring, cuz i still have to save for that tune. Its gonna be about 600 $ for me, with a custom chip.

I love the tune ! hate the cost,
but they told me a guy spent 3.5 hours in my car and used almost 1/4 tank of gas, I bring it to them full and have do a 89 pump gas tune.
The shop did the rear end, the trans, dyno and tune, so I get a deal on the tune and dyno. $400-500 max. usually its $600
