Okay, that must be it then. Also, to get that MAF to work you will have to modify the MAF or your filter/air box to work with the flange on the MAF.

Before you get all excited with motor mods, I saw that you put your car is all stock. I would definitely consider buying some gears and a good posi unit. Depending on what you have auto or 5spd. It will feel a ton faster than any CAI MAF or T-body would. Then you can do your induction and whatever else you want.

ORIGINAL: 5.0stanger

Is the plug the same? I was told I would have to change my plug by vristang I'm not sure, but I was thinking of doing this upgrade also

Sorry for any confusion, the plug should be a direct swap.

It is the Filter adapter that will be needed.

There are some places to get them over the internet, but I will have to look them up when I get home.

its a step in the right direction, and its a very cheap mod. I have my stock 70mm and im running a 70mm tb.. but im also a cobra

IMHO a GT ro LX shouldnt do a TB swap until they have atleast gt-40 heads or better

if your interesed in a cheap set of nice heads (D0OE 351w heads) check THESE out
