Need Some Suggestions

RE: Need Some Suggestions
ok, so I decided I'm going to start with the basics, suspension, cold air intake, gears, tb etc. So I'm thinking of using Steeda products and have a kind of Steeda Cobra. Except for the gears which I'll probably go with ford racing. So the questions now are, what gears should I put in, 3.73's or 4.10's? Also need to know what size tb and if I should go with C&L performance MAF system for the 95. Also do you guys think subframe connectors are good to go with? I'm kind of think about going with a side exhaust kit instead of the Cat back so if I do that I cant do the connectors. Also thinking of adding headers, should I go with long tube or shorty?

373s are a good gear for a 5 speed. you may want to wait on the tb because it has to match the intake manifold. c&l works, you wont have to change mass airs when you get new injectors, but then some people hate them. i guess its personal preference whether you trust c&l or not. sub frams are also a very good idea

I've thought about doing something similar, but it's hard to do when I see so many other quality products on the market for less than what Steeda costs. Suspension is a good choice b/c the heads you have are decent, so, unless you have money to throw around, I wouldn't necessarily worry about them right now.

Manual--3.73 or Auto--4.10
Also need to know what size tb and if I should go with C&L performance MAF system for the 95. You've got a 65mm TB stock, but a 73-76mm C&L will help you out some. The stocker on Cobra's is 70mm, but there is a big *** bar in the middle of it that hinders it.
Also do you guys think subframe connectors are good to go with? I'm kind of think about going with a side exhaust kit instead of the Cat back so if I do that I cant do the connectors. Honestly, I would choose subs over side exhausts any day of the week. Structural rigidity is far more important than looking good, IMO.
Also thinking of adding headers, should I go with long tube or shorty? Personally, I would go w/ longtubes for the simple reason that you will have more power across the board and you won't have to worry about hindering performance later on. If you were going to get an H/X pipe anyway, then shorty midpipes for long tubes are a little cheaper in most cases.
