Intake color?
I have a 95 GT mustang and is Teal. Dont get me wrong i love the car and color but what color paint would go good on the upper and lower intake? i bought i cobra intake off ebay and its painted white, im not sure if that would look good on my car or not. So if any of you have suggestions on what color would look the best that would be great. Also i will need to know were to get the paint, i will be painting it my self (to poor to have a shop do it lol) so it has to be fairly easy. I cant seem to post a pic cuz the file is to big but heres a link to a pic of the car.

Just make sure that you sand it down and prep everything really good. Here is mine that I finished a few weeks ago. Its really not as shiny as it looks in the picture, I just had like 4 spotlights shinning on it and it was still kind of wet.

That looks really good. Nice job on that. I saw one on here where a guy painted it black and silver, it was really good looking. I just dont have the time to do it right now. I can prolly do it over the winter tho. I'm not too sure what colors i would want, i really like the black and silver scheme, but i dont wanna copy anyones work.

Thanks guys. I know who you are talking about with the trickflow and he painted it black silver. I was going to do that with the red but like you said, I didnt want to steal anyones idea so I stuck with what I have.
Also, believe it or not it didnt take that long and it was very cheap. I baught two cans of low gloss black high temp paint and a can or that 1200 degree high temp paint for the red. the red also matched me car PERFECT. I just sprayed the top red like this ....
Than I layed two strips of painters tape over the "TrickFlow" and than cut it out with a razor and sprayed it black. And I used a can of "Total Prep" that I got from autozone which suprisingly worked pretty damn well. All together I think it took my like 4-5 hours. I got a quote from a powerding company for $375 not including shipping to do that. I rather spend the $20 bucks + a few hours and do it myself.
